Workshop Program

You create your own version of all the IAMAI materials, built to suit your school, which will provide:

  • Pre-built governance model, outlining AI use expectations

  • Simple risk guidance for administration and teaching staff

  • A capability development model for staff to grow from basic skills in data governance to use AI with students

  • AI LLM literacy, right through to a nuanced judgement capability for its application in teaching learning and assessment

The Students Use Tools support staff to scaffold student engagement in AI and help with its use for comprehension not completion. This builds a long-term strategic response to the Australian Generative AI Framework for Schools and the issues raised by Gen AI more broadly.

An AI Ready SchoolAI Governance and Implementation Plan

Create an overall AI Plan for your school, based on our comprehensive model, customised for your context and priorities, aligned with the Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence in Schools for fraction of the effort of doing it alone. The workshop sessions provide:

  • AI Governance Model - A pre-built framework adapted based on the existing school’s vision, values, objectives and obligations, setting out of do’s and don’ts, guiding staff decisions and choices about AI, aligning to the Australian Framework for Generative AI in Schools. 

  • Ready Reckoner - Practical tool for administration and teaching staff to link use of AI, the risks and governance model. This is developed into a simple use use 1 page AI guide for staff.

  • Capability Development: A structured approach for staff to build skills in data governance and AI literacy.

  • AI Working Group User Guide. - Guides the schools AI person or team through teacher capability model which can be enacted in to a PD program

  • Student Use Table - Provides an expectations setting structure for teachers and students on AI within Assessments.

  • Guidance Materials - This will identify and prioritise areas of focus and guidance materials needed for staff.
